Price of preparation of vehicle dossiers for motor vehicles exempted from initial inspection in Vietnam as of June 15, 2024

The price of preparation of vehicle dossier for motor vehicle exempted from initial inspection in Vietnam is VND 46.000/vehicle; the price of re-printing of inspection certificate and inspection stamp for a vehicle is VND 23.000/certificate and stamp/vehicle.

The service prices prescribed in Clause 1, Article 4, Circular 11/2024/TT-BGTVT include costs of collection of charges for issuance of certificates of technical safety inspection and environmental protection for motor vehicles but exclude VAT.

At the same time, Circular 11/2024/TT-BGTVT also stipulates the responsibilities of relevant organizations and individuals in preparation of vehicle dossiers for motor vehicles exempted from initial inspection and re-printing of inspection certificates and inspection stamps in Vietnam are as follows:

- Vehicle inspection stations shall issue service invoices in accordance with provisions of the Decree 123/2020/ND-CP prescribing invoices and record, and the Circular 78/2021/TT-BTC on providing guidance on Law on Tax Administration 2019, and Decree 123/2020/ND-CP prescribing invoices and records

-  Vehicle inspection stations shall carry out information disclosure and publicly post their service prices in accordance with regulations of law on pricing, implement tax policies, and pay taxes in accordance with current regulations of laws on taxation and tax administration.

- Organizations and individuals that are provided by vehicle inspection stations with the following services, including preparation of vehicle dossiers for motor vehicles exempted from initial inspection and re-printing of inspection certificates and inspection stamps, shall pay service prices to the vehicle inspection stations at the rates prescribed in Circular 11/2024/TT-BGTVT.
