Plan on implementation of legal aid policy for disabled people facing financial difficulties in 2021 in Vietnam

Recently, the Ministry of Justice of Vietnam has issued the Decision No. 2584/QĐ-BTP on the promulgation of the Plan on implementation of legal aid policy for disabled people facing financial difficulties in 2021.

The Plan on implementation of legal aid policy for disabled people facing financial difficulties in 2021 issued together with the Decision No. 2584/QĐ-BTP of the Ministry of Justice of Vietnam with the goal of implementing legal aid activities, continuing to improve the quality of legal aid activities for disabled people facing financial difficulties, ensuring that 80% of disabled people facing financial difficulties are eligible to be provided with free legal aid in accordance with the law on legal aid when in need.

Specifically, activities to implement the legal aid policy for disabled people facing financial difficulties include:

- Providing legal aid to disabled people facing financial difficulties;

- Raising awareness about legal aid for disabled people facing financial difficulties;

- Enhancing capacity for legal aid providers;

- Monitor, guide and inspect the implementation of legal aid policies for people facing financial difficulties;

- Strengthen international cooperation.
