Plan for issuing documents detailing the Law on management and use of weapons, explosive materials, explosive precursors and support instruments 2024 in Vietnam

Building legislative documents specifying the details assigned in the Law on management and use of weapons, explosive materials, explosive precursors and support instruments 2024 according to the Plan in Decision 871/QD-TTg dated August 19, 2024 as follows:

Decree detailing the implementation of certain articles and measures of the Law on management and use of weapons, explosive materials, explosive precursors and support instruments 2024.

- Lead agency: Ministry of Public Security.

- Coordinating agencies: Ministry of National Defense of Vietnam, Ministry of Industry and Trade, Ministry of Justice, and other relevant agencies.

- Submission/Issuance deadline: Before October 15, 2024.

Decree detailing certain articles of the Law on management and use of weapons, explosive materials, explosive precursors and support instruments 2024 regarding industrial explosives and explosive precursors.

- Lead agency: Ministry of Industry and Trade.

- Coordinating agencies: Ministry of Justice, Ministry of National Defense of Vietnam, Ministry of Public Security, and other ministries and central authorities.

- Submission/Issuance deadline: Before October 15, 2024.

Circular of the Minister of Public Security detailing certain articles of the Law on management and use of weapons, explosive materials, explosive precursors and support instruments 2024.

- Lead agency: Ministry of Public Security.

- Coordinating agencies: Relevant ministries and agencies.

- Submission/Issuance deadline: Before October 15, 2024.

Circular of the Minister of Public Security stipulating forms and procedures for issuing and reissuing licenses for weapons, explosives, explosive precursors, supporting tools, and notification of confirmation of rudimentary weapon declaration.

• Circular of the Minister of National Defense on the management, training, and use of professional animals under the management scope of the Ministry of National Defense of Vietnam.

- Lead agency: Ministry of National Defense of Vietnam.

- Coordinating agencies: Relevant ministries and agencies.

- Submission/Issuance deadline: Before October 15, 2024.

• Circular of the Minister of National Defense issuing the List of military weapons and developing, managing, updating, and exploiting databases on weapons, explosives, explosive precursors, and supporting tools for subjects under the management scope of the Ministry of National Defense of Vietnam.

- Lead agency: Ministry of National Defense of Vietnam.

- Coordinating agencies: Relevant ministries and agencies.

- Submission/Issuance deadline: Before October 15, 2024.

• Circular of the Minister of Industry and Trade on the management and use of industrial explosives and explosive precursors under the management authority of the Ministry of Industry and Trade.

- Lead agency: Ministry of Industry and Trade.
