Overseas Students Need to Carefully Consider Returning to Vietnam in the Current Context

The Ministry of Education and Training has just issued Notification No. 174/TB-BGDDT regarding the compliance with regulations on the prevention and control of acute respiratory infections caused by the novel Coronavirus (Covid-19) for Vietnamese citizens studying and researching abroad.

The Ministry of Education and Training (MOET) notifies all Vietnamese citizens studying and researching abroad (international students) of the following recommendations:

- Comply with recommendations, guidelines, and strictly adhere to the Covid-19 prevention and control regulations of the host country's authorities;- Do not propagate or disseminate unverified information, and stay indoors avoiding public places unless absolutely necessary;- International students should carefully consider returning to Vietnam given the current travel difficulties;- In cases where returning to Vietnam is absolutely necessary, international students must honestly fulfill the health declaration requirements and comply with quarantine regulations as stipulated by the Ministry of Health;- …
