On September 18, 2020, the Standing Committee of the National Assembly issued Resolution 1004/2020/UBTVQH14 on the establishment and regulation of the position, functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Office of the National Assembly Delegation and the Provincial People's Council in Vietnam.
The Office of the Delegation of the National Assembly and the Provincial People's Council has a Chief of Office and not more than 03 Deputy Chiefs of Office, organized into the following departments:
- Department of National Assembly Affairs;
- Department of People's Council Affairs;
- Department of Administration, Organization, and Governance;
- Based on the actual situation of the locality, the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council, after consulting with the Head and Deputy Head of the National Assembly Delegation, may decide to establish an additional department to manage relatively independent tasks under the functions and duties of the Office of the National Assembly Delegation and the Provincial People's Council in Vietnam.
Note: Departments under the Office of the National Assembly Delegation and the Provincial People's Council with 15 or more official staff members may have not more than 03 Deputy Managers in Vietnam.
