Organizational structure of the Government Inspectorate in Vietnam 

According to Decree 81/2023/ND-CP, the Government Inspectorate is a ministerial-level agency of the Government, carry out state management functions on inspection, citizen reception, settlement of complaints and denunciations, and prevention and combat of corruption and negativity nationwide; carry out inspection activities; receive citizens; resolve complaints and denunciations; and prevent and combat corruption and negativity according to the provisions of law.

The organizational structure of the Government Inspectorate includes:

- Legal services.

- Organize staff.

- Department of International Cooperation.

- Planning and General Department.

- Office.

- Department of Inspection, Resolving complaints and denunciations of the sector's economic sector (Department I).

- Department of Inspection, Resolution of Complaints and Denunciations of Internal Affairs and General Economics (Department II).

- Department of Inspection, Resolving complaints and denunciations of the cultural and social sector (Department III).

- Department of Inspection, Resolving Complaints and Denunciations Region 1 (Department I).

- Department of Inspection and Resolution of Complaints and Denunciations Region 2 (Department II).

- Department of Inspection and Resolution of Complaints and Denunciations Region 3 (Department III).

- Department of Anti-Corruption and Negligence (Department IV).

- Department of Supervision, Appraisal and Post-Inspection Handling (Department V).

- Central Citizen Reception Committee.

- Institute of Strategy and Inspection Science.

- Inspectorate Report.

- Inspection Magazine.

- School of Inspectors.

- Information centre.

In particular, the Departments, Bureaus, Offices, and Central Citizen Reception Board are administrative organizations, helping the Government Inspector General perform state management functions;

The remaining units are public service units, serving the state management function of the Government Inspectorate.

The Central Citizen Reception Committee has a permanent department at the Citizen Reception Headquarters of the Central Party and State in Ho Chi Minh City.

The Government Inspector General regulates the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of units under the Government Inspectorate.

Decree 81/2023/ND-CP takes effect on December 1, 2023, and replaces Decree 50/2018/ND-CP.
