Organization of education on fire prevention and fighting skills from preschool to university in Vietnam

In specific, Circular No.06/2022/TT-BGDDT provides for methods and forms of education in Vietnam in fire safety and firefighting, and rescue as follows:

- For preschool education:

+ Integration through nurturing, care for and education of children.

+ Using the methods of visual education and illustrations through physical education activities.

- For general education and continuing education:

+ Incorporating the contents of the lessons of the subjects in the curriculum of main education.

+ Experience, experimental and career orientation activities, life skill education and in club and pavement activities.

- Regarding higher education:

+ Integration of the subject of national defense and security education and extracurricular activities.

+ Coordinate with functional units in fire prevention and fighting, rescue and salvage to organize the training, practice and exercise in accordance with the contents of the training program of the schools.

Particularly, after passing inspection and assessment by the police authority, a university in Vietnam shall be granted the certificate of training in fire prevention and fighting, rescue and relief operation in accordance with applicable law (if necessary).

Time for organization of activities to support and exercise in fire prevention and fighting: Preschool children in Vietnam must ensure at least 01 learning year. For general education pupils, students of continuing education centers must ensure at least 02 sessions/school year. Students shall ensure that at least 03 class hours/academic year.

Circular No.06/2022/TT-BGDDT takes effect on June 26, 2022.
