the Government of Vietnam promulgates Decree No. 112/2017/ND-CP on policies for Southern-based youth volunteers (TNXP) who participated in the resistance period from 1965 to 1975.
Southern grassroots TNXP (Thanh Nien Xung Phong) are eligible for a lump-sum allowance policy, calculated based on the actual number of years participating in grassroots TNXP. Specifically:
- Up to 2 years, the allowance is 2,500,000 VND;- Over 2 years, from the 3rd year onwards, an additional 800,000 VND is added for each year.

When calculating the time for the lump-sum allowance policy, if there are odd months, 6 months or more will be rounded up to 1 year, less than 6 months will be considered half a year.

For TNXP who passed away before November 20, 2017, their relatives are entitled to a lump-sum allowance of 3,600,000 VND.
