Omitting the curriculum vitae in the dossier for appointing judicial experts in Vietnam

This is a noteworthy measure mentioned in Resolution 90/NQ-CP of the Government of Vietnam regarding the simplification of administrative procedures and citizen papers related to population management under the management scope of the Ministry of Science and Technology.

According to the Resolution:

- Omission of the curriculum vitae from the dossier component in the procedure for appointing judicial experts in Vietnam as stipulated in Clause 3, Article 7 of Circular 35/2014/TT-BKHCN;

- Additionally, adding the personal identification number in the Official Dispatch requesting the appointment of judicial experts by the Head of the unit as stipulated in Clause 1, Article 7 of Circular 35.

Furthermore, the Government of Vietnam has also proposed to omit notarized copies of identity cards or passports and to add personal identification numbers for certain administrative procedures such as:

- Procedures for issuing and reissuing industrial property examiner cards;

- Procedures for issuing Certificates of high-tech research and development activities for individuals;
