Officially Terminate the Regulation "Restriction" of Presenting Documents When Flying

Recently, the Ministry of Transport issued Circular 02/2018/TT-BGTVT, officially suspending a part of Circular 45/2017/TT-BGTVT to amend and supplement Circular 01/2016/TT-BGTVT related to procedures for flying on domestic flights.

To be specific:

- According to Clause 45, Article 1 of Circular 45, the requirements for passengers aged 14 and older holding Vietnamese nationality to present various documents for air travel procedures on domestic flights have been suspended.

Information regarding the prohibition of using Communist Party member cards, journalist cards, and driver's licenses for boarding procedures is officially no longer applicable.

- According to Clause 47, Article 1 of Circular 45, the regulation to abolish Appendix XIV concerning the sample affidavit of identification has been suspended.

Circular 02/2018/TT-BGTVT is effective from January 15, 2018, and the suspension of the above regulations is implemented from January 15, 2018, until the issuance of new legal documents.
