Official Extension of Tax and Land Rent Payment Deadlines for 2024 in Vietnam

The entities eligible for the extension of value-added tax, corporate income tax, personal income tax, and land rent payments for 2024 in Vietnam include:

(1) Enterprises, organizations, households, business households, and individuals engaged in production activities in the following economic sectors:

- Agriculture, forestry, and aquaculture;

- Food production and processing; textile; garment production; leather and related products manufacturing; wood processing and wooden, bamboo, and rattan products manufacturing (excluding beds, wardrobes, tables, chairs); products made from straw, thatch, and plaiting materials; paper and paper products manufacturing; rubber and plastic products manufacturing; products from other non-metallic minerals manufacturing; metal production; mechanical processing; metal treatment and coating; electronic products, computers, and optical products manufacturing; automobile and other motor vehicles manufacturing; furniture manufacturing;

- Construction;

- Publishing activities; cinematography, television program production, sound recording, and music publishing;

- Crude oil and natural gas extraction (corporate income tax on crude oil, condensate, and natural gas collected under agreements/contracts is not extended);

- Beverage production; printing and reproduction of recorded media; coke and refined petroleum products manufacturing; chemicals and chemical products manufacturing; fabricated metal products manufacturing (excluding machinery, equipment); motorcycle and motor vehicle manufacturing; machinery and equipment repair, maintenance, and installation;

- Water drainage and wastewater treatment.

(2) Enterprises, organizations, households, business households, and individuals engaged in business activities in the following economic sectors:

- Transportation and warehousing; accommodation and food services; education and training; healthcare and social assistance activities; real estate business activities;

- Labor and employment services; activities of travel agencies, tour operators, and related support services, including promotion and organization of tours;

- Creative, artistic, and entertainment activities; activities of libraries, archives, museums, and other cultural activities; sports, amusement, and recreation activities; film projection activities;

- Broadcasting and television activities; computer programming, consultancy, and related activities; information service activities;

- Mining support service activities.

(3) Enterprises, organizations, households, business households, and individuals engaged in the production of priority support industrial products; key mechanical products.

(4) Small and micro enterprises as defined by the Law on Support for Small and Medium Enterprises 2017 and Decree 80/2021/ND-CP detailing the implementation of certain provisions of the Law on Support for Small and Medium Enterprises 2017.

The economic sectors and fields of enterprises, organizations, households, business households, and individuals mentioned in (1), (2), and (3) above are those in which the entities have production or business activities generating revenue in 2023 or 2024.
