The Ministry of Information and Communications has just issued Decision No. 798/QD-BTTT promulgating the Network Code Conversion Plan, notably including regulations on the conversion prefix and the commencement period for the conversion.

The conversion of fixed telecommunications network codes is regulated as follows:

- MobiFone Network: Convert prefixes 120, 121, 122, 126, 128 to 70, 79, 77, 76, 78;- VinaPhone Network: Convert prefixes 123, 124, 125, 127, 129 to 83, 84, 85, 81, 82;- Viettel Network: Convert prefixes 162, 163, 164, 165, 166, 167, 168, 169 to 32, 33, 34, 35, 36, 37, 38, 39;- Vietnamobile Network: Convert prefixes 186, 188 to 56, 58;- Gmobile Network: Convert prefix 199 to 59.

The conversion will commence and the parallel dialing will start at 00:00 on September 15, 2018; the parallel dialing will end at 23:59 on November 14, 2018.
