Recently, the Ministry of Education and Training (MOET) issued Official Dispatch No. 5942/BGDDT-QLCL to educational and training institutions regarding guidelines for self-assessment and external evaluation of preschools.
To accurately and adequately determine the substance (requirements) of each indicator and criterion, the following points should be noted:
- Indicators and criteria often contain important words and phrases that function as "keywords";- Each indicator and criterion may encompass one or more substances;- It is necessary to determine the substance of each indicator and criterion based on regulations of an educational quality accreditation cycle and the validity period for national standard recognition;- Compare the school's "Specific Objectives" in relation to the substance of the indicators and criteria.
Based on the correctly and adequately determined substance of the indicators and criteria, the working group or individual will analyze the criteria to identify the evidence needed to be collected, the locations for collection, and record them in the Form for Determining the Substance, Analyzing Criteria, and Finding Evidence.
