Below is the content mentioned in Circular 02/2023/TT-BYT amending Circular 15/2016/TT-BYT on occupational diseases entitled to social insurance promulgated by the Minister of Health of Vietnam on 09/02/2023.
According to Vietnam's Circular 02/2023/TT-BYT, from April 1, 2023, "occupational COVID-19 disease" is added to the list of occupational diseases entitled to social insurance.
If an employee is diagnosed with COVID-19 disease as a result of exposure at work between February 1, 2020, and April 1, 2023, they may keep occupational disease records for examination and assessment and benefit from the occupational disease regime under current regulations.

**Occupational COVID-19 disease is a disease that arises during the work process due to employees being exposed to the SARS-CoV-2 virus present in the working environment.
Vietnam's Circular 02/2023/TT-BYT takes effect from the date of signing.
