Below is the content at Official Dispatch 43/ĐKKD-GS dated 21/3/2023 on updating the chip-mounted citizen ID card information of the legal representative in Vietnam.

According to Vietnam's Official Dispatch 43/DKKD-GS, the Business Registration Administration received feedback from a number of business registration agencies regarding enterprises receiving the notice of the tax authority as follows:

"The enterprise must complete the procedure for updating the information on the legal representative's chip-mounted citizen ID card to the Certificate of Business Registration no later than March 31, 2023; if it exceeds the above time limit, the enterprise will be administratively sanctioned."

In this regard, the General Department of Taxation of Vietnam affirms: "There is no policy, nor do they send emails or any notices to taxpayers about the above content."

The regulations on the registration of changes and notification of changes in business registration have been specified in Vietnam's Law on Enterprises, Decree 01/2021/ND-CP.

Vietnam's Official Dispatch 43/DKKD-GS was issued on March 21, 2023.
