Nomenclature of exports and imports under cultural management in Vietnam

Promulgating Nomenclature of exports and imports under cultural management of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism with codes determined under Vietnam’s Nomenclature of exports and imports (Nomenclature of exports and imports) together with this Circular

The Nomenclature of exports and imports in Vietnam encompasses the following Appendices:

- Appendix I. Nomenclature of exports requiring licenses under cultural management of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism with codes determined under Vietnam’s Nomenclature of exports and imports (HS codes).

- Appendix II. Nomenclature of imports requiring licenses under cultural management of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism determined under HS codes.

- Appendix III. Nomenclature of exports subject to conditions under cultural management of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism determined under HS codes.

- Appendix IV. Nomenclature of imports subject to conditions under cultural management of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism determined under HS codes.

- Appendix V. Nomenclature of goods banned from export under cultural management of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism determined under HS codes.

- Appendix VI. Nomenclature of goods banned from import under cultural management of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism determined under HS codes.

Rules for application:

- If there is only a 4-digit code, the same will be applied to all 8-digit goods of the same heading.

- If there is only a 6-digit code, the same will be applied to all 6-digit goods of the same sub-heading.

- If there is 8-digit HS code, those rules will be only applied to such 8-digit goods.

Circular 09/2023/TT-BVHTTDL takes effect as of October 6, 2023 and replaces Circular 24/2018/TT-BVHTTDL.
