On February 22, 2022, the Prime Minister issued Official Letter 155/CD-TTg to apply identification cards to cars to use the non-stop electronic road traffic toll collection service.

Accordingly, in order to effectively promote the toll collection system in the form of electronic non-stop (ETC), contribute to reducing traffic congestion and transparency in toll collection activities, towards eliminating manual toll collection, The Prime Minister requested:

- Ministers, heads of ministerial-level agencies, heads of government-attached agencies, chairmen of People's Committees of provinces and centrally run cities shall request heads of agencies and socio-political mass organizations at the central and local levels to direct the sticking of identification cards for all vehicles and cars under the management of agencies and units (including affiliated units) to use toll collection services. ETC when participating in traffic through toll stations;

- Mobilize cadres, civil servants, public employees and employees of agencies, units and localities to be exemplary in applying identification cards to personal cars to participate in the ETC toll collection service . using manual fee collection form from June 1, 2022 .

Dispatch 155/CD-TTg was issued on 22/02/2022.
