New regulations on the standard framework for consideration of awarding Family of Culture in Vietnam

To be considered for the title of Family of Culture in Vietnam, a family must meet the following standards:

(1) Be exemplary in complying with the Party's guidelines, policies, and laws of the State

- Family members comply well with the Party's policies and the provisions of the law.

- Implement a civilized lifestyle at weddings, funerals, and festivals according to regulations.

- Ensure implementation of security and order, fire prevention, and fighting.

- Ensuring regulations on noise levels do not affect the community according to environmental laws.

(2) Actively participate in movements to emulate labor, production, study, and protect local security, order, and social safety

- Participate in activities to protect historical - cultural relics, scenic spots, natural landscapes, and the local environment.

- Participate in charity and humanitarian movements; participate in the gratitude movement; encourage learning; encourage talent; and build a learning family.

- Participate in community activities at your place of residence.

- Actively participate in economic, cultural, and social development movements organized by the locality.

- People of working age who are able to work actively and have a legitimate income.

- Children of school age can go to school.

(3) Families are prosperous, progressive, happy, and civilized; they regularly stick together, unite, support, and help in the community.

- Implement well the set of behavioral criteria in the family

- Implement well population, marriage, and family policies

- Implement well the goals of gender equality, preventing and combating domestic violence/gender-based violence

- Households have hygienic toilets, bathrooms, water storage facilities/similar types

- Support and help people in the community in times of difficulty and distress.
