New regulations on official residences allocation for Mobile police officers in Vietnam

The National Assembly has just approved Law Mobile Police 2022. in which, from January 1, 2023, new regulations on official residences allocation for Mobile police officers in Vietnam are included.

Specifically, Article 25 of the Law on Mobile Police 2022 stipulates benefits and policies for mobile police officers and soldiers in Vietnam as follows:

- Officers and soldiers of the Mobile Police are entitled to benefits and policies as prescribed by law for officers and soldiers of the People's Public Security of Vietnam.

- Officers and soldiers of the Mobile Police, when serving in the army, are entitled to preferential policies and special benefits that correspond to the tasks and areas of operation in Vietnam

- Mobile police officers are provided with official residences.

(Currently, the Ordinance on Mobile Police 2013 stipulates that Mobile Police officers who work for a stable and long-term position in independent military locations can be arranged with official residences.)

Article 23 of the Law on Mobile Police 2022 also stipulates the combination of latest scientific and technological research and achievements in the activities of the Mobile Police compared to the current regulations in Vietnam.
