On October 18, 2022, the Government of Vietnam promulgated Decree 83/2022/ND-CP a> on retiring at an older age for officials who are leaders and managers.
According to the Decree, cases of eligibility for retirement at an older age for female officials holding the following positions and titles have been added:
- Deputy Chief Justice of the Supreme People’s Court, Deputy Chief Prosecutor of the Supreme People's Procuracy;
- Deputy Auditor General of the State Audit of Vietnam;
- Member of the Central Inspection Commission;
- Vice Chairman of the Vietnamese Fatherland Front; (Currently is the Specialized Vice Chairman of the Vietnamese Father Land Front)
- Vice Chairman of the Council on Ethnic Minorities; (Currently is the Specialized Vice Chairman of the Council on Ethnic Minorities of the National Assembly of Vietnam)
- Deputy Heads of Committees of the National Assembly of Vietnam; (Currently is the Specialized Deputy Heads of Committees of the National Assembly of Vietnam)
- Director of the Truth National Political Publishing House;
- Head of the Legislation Research Institute of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly of Vietnam;
- Director of the Vietnam National University of Hanoi, Director of the Vietnam National University of Ho Chi Minh City, General Director of the Vietnam Social Security, Head of the Management Board of Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Chairman of the National Financial Supervisory Commission, and Vice Chairman of the Commission for the Management of State Capital at Enterprises;
- Standing members of the Council on Ethnic Minorities and other Committees of the National Assembly of Vietnam.
