New regulation of Vietnam on applications for land rent reduction in 2022 due to COVID-19

This is the content of Decision No. 01/2023/QD-TTg dated January 31, 2023 on reduction of land rent and water surface rent in 2022 for subjects affected by the COVID-19 epidemic.

According to the Decision, applications for land rent reduction in 2022 due to COVID-19 include:

- Applications for reduction of land rent and water surface rent in 2022 of tenants following the form prescribed in the Appendix promulgated together with Decision No. 01/2023/QD-TTg.

Land and water surface tenants shall take legal liability for the honesty and accuracy of their information and applications for reduction of land rent and water surface rent, ensuring compliance with regulations on subjects eligible for reduction of land rent and water surface rent prescribed in Decision No. 01/2023/QD-TTg.

- Decisions to permit land lease and water surface lease or land rental and water surface rental contracts or certificates of land use rights, housing ownership rights, and other on-land property of competent state agencies (copies).

Decision No. 01/2023/QD-TTg comes into force as of January 31, 2023.
