Recently, Vietnam Social Security has issued Decision 166/QD-BHXH regarding the process for resolving the enjoyment of Social Insurance policies, and the disbursement of Social Insurance and Unemployment Insurance policies.

The Social Insurance Policies Department shall implement the resolution of new policies for occupational accidents and diseases, retirement, and survivorship as follows:

- Access the system, update information, cross-check data to review and submit to leaders for approval according to form number 04-HSB corresponding to each type of policy;- Print 02 copies of the benefit decision, the social insurance payment history corresponding to each policy for the leaders to sign, and transfer to the Processing Department - for result delivery;- The resolution period from the date the Social Insurance Agency receives complete documents is a maximum of 06 working days to resolve policies on occupational accidents and diseases; a maximum of 12 working days for resolving retirement pensions; a maximum of 05 working days for resolving one-time social insurance benefits and 08 days for survivorship policies.
