New points on deadlines for announcing administrative procedures in legislative documents of Ministry of Transport of Vietnam

According to Vietnam's Circular 26/2022/TT-BGTVT , the time limit for announcing administrative procedures is as follows:

- The agency in charge of drafting legislative documents is responsible for developing a draft decision on the announcement of administrative procedures and sending it to the Office of the Ministry (Department for Control of Administrative Procedures) to submit to the Minister for promulgation the decision on the announcement of administrative procedures as prescribed:

+ No later than 35 days before the effective date of the legislative document containing administrative procedure regulations;

+ Within one day of the date of publication or signing for promulgation of legislative documents (for legislative documents that take effect on the date of adoption or signing for promulgation).(New content added)

- The Ministry's Office must submit to the Minister for promulgation the Decision on the Announcement of Administrative Procedures specified in relevant legislative documents.

+ No later than 20 days before the effective date of the legislative document containing administrative procedure regulations;

+ No later than three days after the date of publication or signing for the promulgation of legislative documents (for legislative documents that take effect on the date of adoption or signing for the promulgation).(New content added)

(Compared to Vietnam's Circular 21/2016/TT-BGTVT, change "working day" to "day").

Vietnam's Circular 26/2022/TT-BGTVT replaces Vietnam's Circular 21/2016/TT-BGTVT and Circular 47/2017/TT-BGTVT and goes into effect on January 1, 2023.
