New Directive of the Party Central Committee on oral propaganda in the new situation in Vietnam

Specifically, the Party Central Committee requests that party committees at all levels and party organizations effectively implement the following key tasks and solutions:

- Strengthen the leadership and direction of Party committees, party organizations, and the active participation of officials and party members, especially the leaders, in oral propaganda.

Closely coordinate and synchronize the comprehensive strength of the political system, with the core force being the propaganda committees at all levels, the team of reporters, and propagandists.

For important guidelines and policies, the leading and managing officials must be the responsible for orienting, disseminating, thoroughly understanding, ensuring unity within the Party, consensus in society, contributing to building the Party and the political system, to the cause of building and defending the country, and enhancing the people's trust in the Party.

- Renew the content associated with strengthening the orientation and persuasion of oral propaganda, especially the content on ideological foundations, Party lines, Party policies, state laws, great achievements, and historical significance of the Party, the country, and the work of building and rectifying the Party and the political system; harmoniously combine with providing information about the domestic and international situation, the practices of localities and units, and the protection of the Party's ideological foundations, refuting incorrect and hostile arguments; ensure comprehensiveness, balance, practicality, relevance, and effectiveness in oral propaganda work.

- Diversify methods and enhance the effectiveness of various forms of oral propaganda, with a focus on grassroots level; combine direct and online propaganda; strengthen direct forms in complex, sensitive fields and areas.

Regularly monitor and grasp the situation, timely provide information, and guide public opinion. Improve the effectiveness of coordination between oral propaganda and propaganda on media platforms.

Enhance the application of information technology, artificial intelligence, and digital technology, and leverage the role of media and social networks to enhance the effectiveness of oral propaganda work and the activities of reporters and propagandists.

- Regularly improve and enhance the quality of the team of reporters at the central, provincial, and district levels; the core team of propagandists at the grassroots level. Party committees, leaders of agencies and units are responsible for leading, directing the construction, improvement, regimes, policies, training, development, and management, inspection, and supervision of the team of reporters and propagandists within their assigned scope, focusing on deep areas, remote areas, and areas with ethnic minority communities.
