The Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs of Vietnam has promulgated Circular 15/2021/TT-BLDTBXH dated October 21, 2021 on the College Charter.
According to the Circular, there are some notable new contents as follows:
- Additional types of colleges:
Circular 15/2021 of Vietnam stipulates that colleges are organized in three types, including: public colleges; private colleges and foreign-invested colleges.
(Currently, only two types are regulated, public colleges and private colleges).
- Regulations that the principal of a private college is not an officer, public servant or public employee
(This is a new content compared to the current regulations on the role and position of the college principal)
- Add the object of learners in the college:
Circular 15/2021 stipulates that college students include:
+ Students of college-level training programs;
+ Students of intermediate level training programs and elementary level training programs;
+ Students of the continuing training program according to Clauses a, b, c, d, Clause 1, Article 40 of the Law on Vocational Education of Vietnam;
+ Students of the program to grant diplomas of the national education system (New content ).
