National GDP growth in Vietnam in 2025 reaches at least 8% and strives for over 10%

In order to successfully achieve the objectives and tasks set out in the economic and social development plan for 2025 and the entire 5-year period of 2021-2025 as per the Conclusions, the requirements of the Central Committee, the Politburo, and the National Assembly Resolutions, the Government of Vietnam requests all levels, sectors, and localities to concentrate on directives and management, ensuring the national GDP growth in 2025 reaches at least 8% and strives for double digits under more favorable conditions (higher than the National Assembly's target of 6.5-7%, aiming for 7-7.5%). The GRDP growth target for localities in 2025 is set at a minimum of 8-10%, especially for Hanoi City, Ho Chi Minh City, potential localities, and major cities which are considered engines of growth; they are required to strive for higher growth rates than the national average to further strengthen their role in 2025.

At the same time, leveraging the strength of unity, a spirit of innovation, unceasing creativity, being bold in thinking and action, self-reliance, resilience, and the aspiration for progress, united efforts are required to turn every difficulty and challenge into opportunities for breakthroughs. A high determination, great effort, and decisive action are needed under the theme "Discipline and Responsibility; proactive promptness; streamlined efficiency; accelerate breakthroughs" with five perspectives, focusing on directive and management priorities, for example:

Conduct thorough analysis and accurate evaluation of the implementation of the 5-year 2021-2025 Socio-Economic Development Plan, thereby coming up with breakthrough solutions based on the spirit of "any unachieved targets must be achieved, and achieved targets must be improved in quality and effectiveness," striving to complete the highest possible goals set forth.

Initiate bold, decisive, revolutionary, and more comprehensive innovations in economic management to ensure the country confidently steps into an era of prosperity, richness, and development.
