Government of Vietnam issued Decree 131/2022/ND-CP dated December 31, 2022 detailing a number of articles of <Law on Cinematography.

In particular, the end of showtime for children's movies in Vietnam is stipulated as follows:

- The end of showtime of theatrical movies for children under 13 years old must end before 10 p.m.

- The end of showtime of theatrical films for children under the age of 16 must be before 23:00.

(According to the previous regulations in Vietnam, the end time of theatrical movies for children under 16 years old must end before 10 p.m.)

In addition, when children go to the cinema through the cinema system, they will receive at least a 20% discount on movie ticket prices when directly using the movie viewing service at the cinema.

In addition, for Vietnamese films, they must be shown in the cinema system, especially on films commemorating major national holidays and serving political, social, and foreign affairs as required by the competent state agency, and will be given priority in the time frame from 18:00 to 22:00.

More details can be found in Vietnam's Decree 131/2022/ND-CP, which takes effect on January 1, 2023, and replaces Vietnam's Decree 54/2010/ND-CP.
