On October 10, 2019, the Ministry of Construction issued Circular 05/2019/TT-BXD amending and supplementing the Appendix of Circular 05/2018/TT-BXD providing guidelines for the export of minerals for use as construction materials.

This Circular replaces Appendix I regarding the List, Specifications, and Technical Standards of Minerals used as Construction Materials in Circular 05/2018/TT-BXD.

Accordingly, the standards for construction stone used for concrete aggregates, road concrete spreading, or other purposes must be processed by crushing, grinding, and screening with particle sizes less than or equal to 100 mm (under current regulations, particles sizes must be less than or equal to 60 mm), including the following types:

- Construction stone originating from pebbles, gravel, basalt, etc., used for concrete aggregates, road traffic spreads, and other purposes;- Construction stone originating from limestone, granite, gabbro, marble, sandstone, quartz, and other stones used for concrete aggregates, road traffic spreads, and other purposes.

For more details, see Circular 05/2019/TT-BXD effective December 01, 2019.
