The Ministry of Industry and Trade has just issued Decision No. 1408/QD-BCT approving the overall plan to simplify administrative procedures in certain fields.

In particular, notable reforms include export and import procedures aimed at reducing the time required for administrative procedures in certain cases such as:

- Issuing/reissuing the Certificate of Free Sale (CFS) for exported and imported products and goods from 05 to 03 working days;- Issuing the License for export processing with foreign elements from 10 to 05 working days;- Reissuing, amending and supplementing the License for production and processing of uniforms for foreign armed forces from 07 to 05 working days;- Reissuing and adjusting the content of the Certificate of Eligibility for rice export business from 15 to 10 working days.

Additionally, the Decision also stipulates the abolition of certain procedures and dossier components in the fields of export and import, food safety, trade promotion, etc.
