The Drug Administration Department - Ministry of Health has just issued Official Dispatch 5595/QLD-KD regarding the resumption of export of COVID-19 prevention and treatment drugs.
Previously, on April 30, 2020, the Office of the Government of Vietnam issued Official Dispatch 3438-VPCP-KGVX to various Ministries regarding the Prime Minister of the Government of Vietnam's directives on some recommendations of the National Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control. It included the following content:
"Agreed to resume the export of medicines used for COVID-19 treatment that were temporarily suspended according to the directive of the Prime Minister of the Government of Vietnam in Notification 153/TB-VPCP dated April 10, 2020, by the Office of the Government of Vietnam, ensuring the principle of meeting the needs for epidemic prevention and control in full."
The Drug Administration Department announces: Units shall continue the export of COVID-19 preventive and control medicines from the date of issuance of this official dispatch.
