Ministry of Education and Training's request for strict compliance with regulations on education-related fees and charges in Vietnam for the school year 2024-2025

According to the content in Official Dispatch 4916/BGDDT-KHTC, 2024, Ministry of Education and Training's request for strict compliance with regulations on education-related fees and charges in Vietnam for the school year 2024-2025 as follows:

- Implement the contents of Official Dispatch 2179/BGDDT-KHTC, 2024, of the Ministry of Education and Training sent to units regarding the implementation of fees and charges related to education and training for the 2024-2025 school year.

- Direct the Departments of Education and Training to enhance the communication, dissemination, and widespread distribution of the directive documents to correct the implementation of fees and expenditures to educational institutions and educational management agencies; requiring educational institutions to inform, propagate to parents, parent representative boards, and teachers to understand and comply with the regulations on fees and expenditures for the 2024-2025 school year.

- Guide and direct local educational management agencies to strengthen state management regarding the implementation of fees and expenditures in educational institutions in the area; responsible for guiding, inspecting, and applying strong sanctions in cases of violations of the regulations on fees and expenditures in educational institutions in the area.

- Publicly disclose commitments regarding the quality of education and training, conditions ensuring quality, and financial revenues and expenditures according to Circular 09/2024/TT-BGDDT of the Ministry of Education and Training issuing the Regulation on public disclosure for educational institutions within the national education system.

The Ministry of Education and Training of Vietnam requests ministries, ministerial-level agencies, agencies under the Government of Vietnam, central agencies of political-social organizations; People’s Committees of provinces and cities under central authority; educational institutions to comply with the regulations.
