Ministry of Education and Training of Vietnam: Promulgating the Ministry of Administrative Procedures standardized in the field of education

On June 24, 2021, the Ministry of Education and Training of Vietnam issued Decision 2108/QD-BGDĐT on publication of the Ministry of administrative procedures standardized within the scope and management functions of the Ministry of Education and Training.

According to the Decision, administrative procedures which are standardized in the field of education are as follows:

- To approve the teaching and learning of ethnic minority languages and scripts in general education institutions and continuing education centers in Vietnam;

- To establish a public university, allowing the establishment of a private university in Vietnam;

- To establish a branch of a public university, allowing the establishment of a branch of a private university in Vietnam;

- To rename the higher education institution in Vietnam;

- To register professional training in pedagogy;

- To permit the establishment of foreign-invested higher education institutions in Vietnam;

- To consider and award the title of excellent teacher;

- To change schools for high school students;...

Decision 2108/QD-BGDDT takes effect from June 24, 2021 and replaces Decision 5756/QD-BGDDT dated December 25, 2017.
