On October 9, 2024, the Minister of Construction of Vietnam issued Decision 915/QD-BXD announcing the list of annulled housing-related administrative procedures under the state management function of the Ministry of Construction of Vietnam.
The annulled housing-related administrative procedures include 01 central-level administrative procedure and 05 provincial-level administrative procedures as specified in Decision 915/QD-BXD of 2024, comprising:
Central-Level Administrative Procedure
- The procedure for recognizing the investor of a housing construction project under the authority of the Ministry of Construction (in cases where there are multiple commercial housing project investors approved for investment policy under investment law).
Provincial-Level Administrative Procedures
- The procedure for recognizing the investor of a housing construction project under the authority of the provincial People's Committee (in cases where there are multiple commercial housing project investors approved for investment policy under investment law);
- The procedure for resolving the transfer of land use rights adjacent to old houses owned by the state as stipulated in Clause 2, Article 71 of Decree 99/2015/ND-CP;
- The procedure for resolving the transfer of land use rights for houses built on vacant land in the premises of old houses owned by the state as regulated in Clause 3, Article 71 of Decree 99/2015/ND-CP;
- The procedure for recognizing or re-recognizing the classification of apartment buildings;
- The procedure for recognizing the adjustment of classification of apartment buildings.
Additionally, Decision 133/QD-BXD of 2023 by the Minister of Construction of Vietnam announcing the amendment and supplementation of administrative procedures in the housing sector related to the abolishment of submitting paper household registration books within the scope and management function of the Ministry of Construction of Vietnam is abolished from October 9, 2024.
