This is the significant content of Notice No. 122/TB-VPCP Conclusion by Prime Minister of the Government of Vietnam Nguyen Xuan Phuc at the meeting of the Standing Committee of the Government of Vietnam on the prevention and control of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Prime Minister assigns the Ministry of Health to take the lead and cooperate with the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Industry and Trade in deciding on the procurement of medical masks, ensuring sufficient supply for healthcare facilities. Enterprises producing medical masks are required to supply masks only to the Ministry of Health and healthcare facilities. Healthcare facilities are permitted to purchase and use masks only for their units and are strictly prohibited from buying and selling to other units.
In handling international relations, the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the Ministry of Industry and Trade will report to the Prime Minister of Vietnam.
Additionally, this Notice clearly states that goods and essential items will not be accepted at centralized quarantine facilities.
The relevant Ministries and the People's Committees of provinces and cities must strictly handle cases of non-disclosure, false declaration, or non-compliance with quarantine measures according to regulations. Necessary investigations and prosecutions under the law are required.
