Means of Transporting Goods from China to Vietnam are not Permitted to Enter Deep into the Interior

This is a noteworthy content stipulated in Official Dispatch 829/BYT-MT in 2020, which provides guidance on border health quarantine for COVID-19 prevention and control concerning vehicles and vehicle operators transporting goods, issued by the Ministry of Health.

To be specific, when participating in the operation of vehicles transporting goods to China and returning to Vietnam, vehicle operators are required to comply with the following requirements:

- Only transport goods to the designated areas for handover and receipt of goods at railway checkpoints, road border gates, airports, and seaports, and not proceed further inland;- Limit leaving the vehicle while waiting to load or unload goods;- Increase the use of remote communication methods to reduce direct contact;- Wear protective clothing, masks properly, goggles, hats, gloves, and shoe covers when arriving at border gates, seaports, or airplanes;- When leaving the vehicle: Limit going to crowded areas, maintain a safe distance of 1.5-2 meters when interacting with others;- ...
