Mandatory Opening of Classroom Doors at the End of Each Lesson to Create Ventilation and Prevent Covid-19

Recently, the Ministry of Education and Training issued Official Dispatch 1583/BGDDT-GDTC on the implementation of measures for the prevention and control of Covid-19 in schools.

The Ministry of Education and Training requests that localities and schools implement the following measures:

- Do not use hats, caps, or clothing with individual splash shields in the classroom; do not mandate wearing masks in the classroom; continue wearing masks on the way to school, before entering the classroom, during recess, when leaving the classroom, and on the way home;- Do not apply social distancing in the classroom. Limit contact between students of different classes and in crowded places;- Air conditioning is permitted in the classroom; at the end of each class session, the classroom should be aired out; increase the frequency of surface disinfection, cleaning classrooms, restrooms, and performing other preventive measures against disease as prescribed.
