Maintenance of aviation infrastructure assets in Vietnam

On September 22, 2021, the Ministry of Transport of Vietnam has Circular 20/2021/TT-BGTVT promulgate the Regulation on coordination between enterprises assigned to manage aviation infrastructure assets and agencies performing the specialized aviation state management function.

According to this Circular, the maintenance of aviation infrastructure assets is carried out as follows:

- For Vietnam Airport Corporation - JSC:

+ To be responsible for performing the tasks of enterprises assigned to manage, use and exploit aviation infrastructure assets, to organize the maintenance of aviation infrastructure assigned to management under the regulations of the Minister of Transport of Vietnam on maintenance of aviation works and regulations of law on maintenance of works;

+ Ensure maintenance of regular, continuous and safe operating conditions for aviation infrastructure assets under management.

- The Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam is responsible for fully performing the functions and tasks of the aviation state management agency in the maintenance of aviation infrastructure...
