Recently, the Supreme People's Court issued Official Dispatch 113/TANDTC-VP regarding the prevention and control of the COVID-19 pandemic.
To effectively control and manage the spread; proactively prevent and respond to the epidemic; and protect the health and lives of the community, the Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court requires from March 31, 2020, to the end of April 15, 2020, that the Courts focus on effectively implementing the following requirements:
- For cases and matters that have expired the resolution period and must hold a hearing, the number of people in one room should not exceed 20; it is required to maintain a distance of over 2 meters between individuals in the courtroom;- Suspend organizing meetings, conferences, seminars, and events that gather more than 20 people in a room; always wear masks when working and when going outside;- Advise officials to limit social contact; avoid large gatherings and minimize travel;- Strengthen inspection and supervision of epidemic prevention and control at the unit, especially increasing supervision of officials who are quarantined;- ...
