Main tasks and solutions to implement the Socio-Economic Development Plan for 2024 in Vietnam 

Resolution01/NQ-CP identifies 12 main groups of tasks and solutions, including:

- Prioritize promoting economic growth, maintaining macroeconomic stability, controlling inflation, and ensuring major balances.

- Continue to review and improve institutions, laws, mechanisms, and policies associated with improving the effectiveness and efficiency of law enforcement; promote the reduction and simplification of administrative procedures and business regulations.

- Promote the construction and development of a synchronous and modern strategic infrastructure system, especially the system of highways, airports, ports, urban infrastructure, inter-regional infrastructure, digital infrastructure, social infrastructure, healthcare, education, etc.

- Focus on effective and substantive implementation of economic restructuring associated with innovating growth models, strengthening endogenous capacity, improving competitiveness, and rapid and sustainable development; Promote the development of the digital economy, green economy, circular economy, night-time economy, e-commerce, emerging industries and fields, new and effective business models; renew old growth drivers, and effectively exploit new growth drivers.

- Focus on developing high-quality human resources, especially human resources in the fields of biotechnology, artificial intelligence, chips, and semiconductors.
associated with promoting scientific research, technology development and application, and further promoting startup innovation.

- Comprehensively develop cultural and social fields, ensuring harmonious connection with economic development; ensure social security, improve the material and spiritual lives of the people; and continue to innovate and improve the quality of social policies to meet the requirements of building and protecting the homeland in the new period.

- Proactively respond to climate change, water security, and natural disaster prevention and control, strengthen resource management and environmental protection; and harmoniously resolve the relationship between economic development and environmental protection.

- Promote the development of regional links, the Regional Council operates effectively, strictly implementing national planning, regional planning, and provincial planning; speed up the process of improving the quality of urbanization and urban economy.

- Continue to improve and build a streamlined apparatus that operates effectively and efficiently; further promote the prevention and combat of corruption, negativity, waste, and group benefits; Tighten discipline and administrative discipline.

- Strengthen and consolidate national defense and security potential, firmly protect independence, sovereignty, unity, and territorial integrity; and ensure political security, social order, and safety. Do not let the Party and State be passive or surprised about the strategy.

- Deploy synchronously, comprehensively, and effectively foreign affairs and international integration activities; maintain an environment of peace, stability, cooperation, and development; create favorable conditions; attract resources to serve national development; and consolidate and enhance Vietnam's reputation and international position.

- Promote information and propaganda, especially policy communication, improve the effectiveness of mass mobilization work, and create social consensus.
