Loan application for buying computer for students in Vietnam

On April 4, 2022, the Bank for Social Policies of Vietnam issued Dispatch 2466/NHCS-TDSV on the instructions providing loans for students with disadvantage circumstances to buy computers and equipment for online learning.

According to the Official Dispatch in Vietnam, loan documents to buy computers and equipment for online learning in Vietnam prepared by borrowers include:

- Loan application form cum loan use plan (form No. 01/TD applies to students borrowing loans through households);

Loan application form (form No. 01/TDMT applies to students applying for direct loans);

- Power of attorney (form No. 01/GUQ) (if any);

- Certificate of the school (form 01/TDSV) attached to document No. 720/NHCS-TDNN-HSSV dated March 29, 2011 (applicable to students).

Within 03 working days from the day on which the complete loan application is received, the credit officer shall check and compare the legality and validity of the loan application for approval in Vietnam.

If approved, the Bank for Social Policies of Vietnam will notify the customer to go to the lending bank's head office or commune transaction point to carry out the procedures to receive the loan.

Official Dispatch 2466/NHCS-TDSV takes effect from April 4, 2022.
