List of telecommunications equipment and radio stations subject to compulsory inspection in Vietnam from August 15, 2023

The list of telecommunications equipment and radio stations subject to compulsory inspection in Vietnam in Circular 08/2020/TT-BTTTT is replaced in Circular 07/2023/TT-BTTTT as follows:

- Public land mobile phone base stations: Inspection cycle of 5 years; Technical standards applied QCVN 8:2022/BTTTT;

- Radio stations: Inspection cycle of 5 years; Technical standards applied QCVN 78:2014/BTTTT;

- Television stations: Inspection cycle of 5 years; Technical standards applied QCVN 78:2014/BTTTT.

Note for the list of telecommunications equipment and radio stations subject to compulsory inspection:

- Public land mobile phone base stations: Applicable to public land mobile phone base stations within a 100-meter radius (measured from any point at the base of the antenna mast of that base station) that have constructions where people live or work, and the height differential between the lowest edge of the antennas and the highest floor level or surface of these constructions is less than 28 meters.

- Radio stations: Applicable to radio and television stations with a maximum transmission power from 150W or more.

- Television stations: The inspection cycle is calculated from the date the Inspection Certificate is issued.

Additionally, in Circular 07/2023/TT-BTTTT, Appendix No. 02 on the Inspection Process for Public Land Mobile Phone Base Stations in Circular 08/2020/TT-BTTTT is replaced by Appendix No. 02 on the Inspection Process for Public Land Mobile Phone Base Stations attached to Circular 07/2023/TT-BTTTT.

More details can be found in Circular 07/2023/TT-BTTTT which comes into effect in Vietnam from August 15, 2023.
