List of State secrets classified as “confidential” of the Communist Party of Vietnam

On November 03, 2020, the Prime Minister of Vietnam issued the Decision No. 1722/QĐ-TTg promulgating the List of State secrets classified as “confidential” of the Communist Party of Vietnam.

State secrets are classified into the 03 levels: top secret, secret, confidential. In particular, State secrets classified as “confidential” of the Communist Party of Vietnam include:

- Information on leadership and general direction;

- Information on the inspection, supervision and enforcement of Party discipline;

- Information on the organization and development of the Party;

- Information on propaganda work;

- Information on external affairs of the Party and people;

- Socio-economic information: Decisions, conclusions, schemes, reports, notices and official dispatches of the Party Central Committee, Central Economic Commission and provincial Party Committees on investment policy and development of regional and regional economic projects of provinces and cities in association with the task of ensuring national defense and security, protecting sovereignty and territorial integrity;

- Information on civil mobilization work;

- Information on internal affairs;

- Information on national defense and security.
