The Ministry of Construction has just issued Circular 05/2018/TT-BXD guiding the export of minerals for use as building materials.

Enclosed with Circular 05/2018/TT-BXD is Appendix I: List, specifications, and technical criteria of minerals used for export construction materials, examples include:

- Silica white sand, mold yellow sand;- Paving stones, blocks, art stones, construction stones...

Additionally, enterprises exporting minerals for construction materials must comply with the following regulations:

- Minerals used for export construction materials must have a legal origin in accordance with the mineral law regulations;- The export dossiers of minerals used for construction materials must be carried out in accordance with the customs and foreign trade management laws;- Before January 15 every year, enterprises exporting minerals must prepare periodic reports and submit them to the Provincial People's Committee where the enterprises have export activities according to the form in Appendix II enclosed with Circular 05.

Circular 05/2018/TT-BXD takes effect from August 15, 2018, replacing Circular 04/2012/TT-BXD.
