On June 13, 2017, the Government of Vietnam issued Resolution 48/NQ-CP approving the results of the codification of the legal normative document system (QPPL) along with the list of topics on Land and 35 items under 15 other topics. For instance:

- Subject of Land: Includes 01 category of land;- Subject of Enterprises, cooperatives: Includes categories:- Enterprises- Legal support for enterprises- Subject of Banking, money: Includes categories:- Deposit insurance;- Negotiable instruments;- Anti-money laundering.- Subject of Defense: Includes categories:- Defense industry;- Militia and self-defense forces;- National defense and security education;- Vietnam Coast Guard Force.

The agencies implementing codification cooperate with the Ministry of Justice to promptly update new legal normative documents and remove invalid legal normative documents from the Code if there are documents amending, supplementing, replacing, repealing, or promulgating new ones within the subject of Land and the 35 aforementioned categories.
