List of groups of basic medical information in the National Insurance Database in Vietnam

The Ministry of Health of Vietnam issued Decision 3074/QD-BYT dated 11/11/2022 stipulating the group of basic medical information in the national insurance database.

According to Vietnam's Decision 3074/QD-BYT, the group of basic medical information in the national insurance database as prescribed at Point h, Clause 1, Article 6 of Decree 43/2021/ND-CP includes the following information:

- Additional administrative information (other than that specified in Point a, Clause 1, Article 6 of Vietnam's Decree 43/2021/ND-CP):

+ Current residence address;

+ Blood group information.

- Prehistoric information:

+ Allergy information;

+ Information gathered about the patient's medical history;

+ Background information on surgery and procedures;

+ Vaccination details;

+ Relevant family history information.

- Medical examination and treatment information (for each medical examination and treatment):

+ Reason for visiting the doctor;

+ Medical examination and treatment facility information (in the event of a hospital transfer);

+ Information on medical examination and treatment;

+ Medical examination and treatment facility information (in the event of a hospital transfer);

+ Confirmed diagnosis at hospital discharge;

+ Summary of progress during treatment;

+ Surgery, procedures/treatment methods;

+ Preclinical research is useful for diagnosis, treatment, and care.

+ The medication has been administered;

+ Weight for children under 28 days old;

+ Important patient information.

Vietnam's Decision 3074/QD-BYT takes effect from November 11, 2022.
