The Ministry of Health has just issued Circular 22/2018/TT-BYT stipulating the List of Functional Foods for Children Under 06 Years Old Subject to Price Declaration.

The list of functional foods for children under 6 years old subject to price declaration includes:

- Health protection food;- Medical nutritional food;- Supplementary food, including nutritional products for children up to 36 months old.

Milk for children under 6 years old, which is classified as price-stabilized goods as stipulated in Circular 30/2013/TT-BYT, is not subject to price declaration under this Circular.

According to the aforementioned Circular, the Department of Food Safety and provincial food safety management agencies are responsible for posting the list of products on their electronic information portals or on other mass electronic media.
