List of essential public non-business service for Vietnamese Judiciary to promulgate

On December 8, 2021, the Prime Minister of Vietnam promulgated Decision 2069/QD-TTg on the List of fundamental and essential public non-business service of the Judiciary.

According to the Decision, the list of essential public non-business service in Vietnam includes:

- Information support services, providing legal aid under the Law on Legal Aid;

- Support services, guiding the victims to carry out the procedures for claiming compensation according to the Law on Compensation Liability of the State.

In addition, the list of fundamental public non-business in Vietnam services includes:

- Services of receiving, processing and providing judicial record information;

- Property auction service;

- Notarization service.

Based on the List of fundamental and essential public nin-business services mentioned above the People's Committees of the provinces and centrally-run cities shall decide or decentralize their agencies to select public non-business serpice units to provide non-business services in the form of assigning, ordering or bidding.

At the same time, they shall review and arrange public non-business units to provide basic and essential public non-business services mentioned above and in line with the objectives set out in Resolution 19-NQ/TW dated 25/25/03 October 2017.

Decision 2069/QD-TTg takes effect from December 8, 2021.
