List of Diseases Exempting from Military Service Registration in 2017

This is the content mentioned in Joint Circular 16/2016/TTLT-BYT-BQP regarding medical examinations for military service.

Regulations on diseases eligible for exemption from military service registration and ineligibility for active military service include:

- Mental Disorders (ICD10 code: F20-F29);- Epilepsy (ICD10 code: G40);- Parkinson's Disease (ICD10 code: G20);- Blindness in one eye (ICD10 code: H54.4);- Deafness (ICD10 code: H90);- Sequelae of bone and joint tuberculosis (ICD10 code: B90.2);- Sequelae of leprosy (ICD10 code: B92);- Malignant diseases (ICD10 codes: C00 to C97; D00 to D09; D45-D47);- HIV infection (ICD10 codes: B20 to B24, Z21);- Persons with severe and especially severe disabilities.

Additionally, the Circular introduces numerous new regulations on medical examination standards for military service.
