List of Competitions for High School Students from the 2017-2018 Academic Year

Recently, the Ministry of Education and Training issued Official Dispatch No. 5814/BGDDT-GDTrH regarding the organization of competitions for high school students from the academic year 2017-2018 onwards.

For the 2017 - 2018 academic year, the Departments of Education and Training will continue to maintain and organize the following competitions:

- National High School Examination;- National Excellent Student Selection Examination;- International Olympic Team Selection Examination;- Science and Engineering Fair for junior and senior high school students;- National Phu Dong Sports Festival;- "Young People Studying and Following Ho Chi Minh's Moral Example" Competition;- Traffic Education Competition;- UPU International Letter-Writing Competition.

With respect to the Math and Physics Online Competition; English Language Online Competition; and the Math Competition using Handheld Calculators: the content and format of these competitions will be innovated to align with the educational reforms in teaching, testing, and assessment of the general education program.
