Learning outcomes of graduates of intermediate-level schools and colleges in Vietnam

According to Circular 04/2023/TT-BLDTBXH, the minimum learning outcomes that learners can achieve after graduating from intermediate or college degrees according to each training discipline or profession include:

1. Name of the training industry or profession

2. Training level

3. Minimum amount of knowledge

4. Competency Requirements

- Required knowledge;

- Required skills;

- Degree of autonomy and responsibility.

(Meanwhile, in Circular 12/2017/TT-BLDTBXH, it is stipulating that, based on the objectives and professional requirements of each training industry and profession; on the basis of training practice, specific conditions of the region, and research, reference is made to foreign experiences to ensure that the minimum amount of knowledge and capacity requirements that learners must achieve after graduation are scientific, practical, and can be implemented in practice. The minimum amount of knowledge and capacity requirements that learners must achieve after graduating from the intermediate or college level according to each training discipline or profession include the following contents:

1. Name of the training industry or profession

2. Training level

3. Knowledge requirements: basic knowledge of politics, culture, society, and law; Professional knowledge of the training industry

4. Skill requirements

- Hard skills: Professional skills, professional practice capacity, situation handling skills, problem solving skills;

- Soft skills: Communication skills, teamwork, independent work, ability to use foreign languages, informatics.

5. Requirements on autonomy and responsibility

- Ethical qualities, professional sense, civic responsibility;

- Responsibility, ethics, professional style, and service attitude;

- Ability to update knowledge, be creative at work.

6. Job position of learners after graduation

7. Ability to study and improve after graduation

8. Referenced international programs, documents, and standards)

Circular 04/2023/TT-BLDTBXH takes effect as of July 30, 2023.
